Corpus Christi

General Description
The Corpus Christi project began by balancing the seven acre site to maximize the use of onsite soils and extending the public water supply over 1/4 mile to the site.
The building is a multi-purpose facility intended to serve all of the needs of a start-up parish. It includes administrative
offices, class rooms, a kitchen, in addition to the multipurpose worship hall and vesting areas. The site affords space enough so a soul purpose church can be constructed at a later time.
The building is a highly energy efficient and cost effective
pre-engineered metal building. The exterior of the building is covered with insulating metal panels, which have a textured sand finish on the outside and 3” of insulating foam on the
inside. All windows are insulating, double pane, with low-e glazing. The roof is insulated with R-30 Simple Saver. The concrete floors are ground to expose the aggregates in the concrete, then stained and polished. The ceiling, at 40 feet high, is unfinished with exposed and painted ductwork and piping. The large volume of the Worship Hall is filled with dramatic lighting fixtures.
We worked closely with the Pastor of the church to achieve the look that was wanted, even though it was not represented on the actual construction drawings, all while bringing the project in on budget and on schedule.
